WATER-REDUCING, ACCELERATING ADMIXTURE FOR CONCRETE

DESCRIPTION:

Plastimix NCRapidSet is a ready to use aqueous solution of complex compounds and non-chloride accelerators which provides the benefits water reduction combined with excellent set and early strength acceleration.  Plastimix NCRapidSet enhances the performance of plastic and hardened concrete.  Plastimix NCRapidSet is manufactured under rigid quality control measures to provide uniform, reliable results. 

USES:

Plastimix NCRapidSet is recommended for concrete mixes where reduced water content, improved finishability, accelerated set, reduced curing costs and very high early strengths are desirable.

DOSAGE RATE:

Plastimix NCRapidSet is recommended for use at a dosage rate of 8 to 90 fluid ounces per 100 pounds (520 to 5850 ml per 100 kg) of cement.  Plastimix NCRapidSet dosage rates are dependent upon desired concrete performance characteristics and variables including cement quantity and chemistry, concrete temperature and curing conditions.

TECHNICAL NOTE:

Plastimix NCRapidSet does not contain any purposely added calcium chloride or other chloride based components.  It will not promote or contribute to corrosion of reinforcing steel in concrete.

COMPATIBILITY:

Plastimix NCRapidSet is compatible with all types of Portland cement, class C and F fly ash, slag, microsilica, calcium chloride, fibers and approved air-entraining and water-reducing admixtures.  Plastimix NCRapidSet can be used in all white, colored, and architectural concrete.  For best results, each admixture must be dispensed separately into the concrete mix.

STORAGE:

Plastimix NCRapidSet  may freeze at temperatures below 5 F (2 C).  Although freezing does not harm Plastimix NCRapidSet, precautions should be taken to protect it from freezing.  If it should happen to freeze, thaw and reconstitute with mechanical agitation.  Do Not Use Pressurized Air For Agitation.
