PLASTIMIX  3330

EXTENDED SLUMP LIFE HIGH-RANGE WATER-REDUCING ADMIXTURE FOR CONCRETE

DESCRIPTION:

Plastimix 3330 is a ready to use aqueous solution of complex compounds which provides the benefits of a powerful, normal setting HRWR, combined with the benefits of extended concrete workability and “slump life.”  Plastimix 3330 enhances the performance of plastic and hardened concrete.  Plastimix 3330 is manufactured under rigid quality control measures to provide uniform, reliable results.  

USES:

Plastimix 3330 is recommended for concrete mixes where reduced water content, improved workability, extended slump life with normal set times, improved cement performance and very high early and ultimate strengths are desirable.

DOSAGE RATE:

Plastimix 3330 is recommended for use at a dosage rate of 8 to 22 fluid ounces per 100 pounds (520 to 1430 ml per 100 kg) of cement.  Plastimix 3330 offers broad flexibility and may be used as a normal, mid and/or high-range water reducer depending upon the desired concrete performance characteristics.

TECHNICAL NOTE:

Plastimix 3330 does not contain any purposely added calcium chloride or other chloride based components.  It will not promote or contribute to corrosion of reinforcing steel in concrete.

COMPATIBILITY:

Plastimix 3330 is compatible with all types of Portland cement, class C and F fly ash, slag, microsilica, calcium chloride, fibers and approved air entraining admixtures.  Plastimix 3330 can be used in all white, colored, and architectural concrete.  For best results, each admixture must be dispensed separately into the concrete mix.

STORAGE:

Plastimix 3330 may freeze at temperatures below 35 F (2 C).  Although freezing does not harm Plastimix 3330, precautions should be taken to protect it from freezing.  If it should happen to freeze, thaw and reconstitute with mechanical agitation.  Do Not Use Pressurized Air For Agitation.
