Plastimix 200

WATER-REDUCING ADMIXTURE FOR CONCRETE

DESCRIPTION:

PLASTIMIX 200 is a ready to use aqueous solution of complex compounds which enhance the performance of both plastic and hardened concretes, including concretes containing fly ash and/or slag (GGBFS).  PLASTIMIX 200 is manufactured under rigid quality control measures to provide uniform, reliable performance. 

USES:

PLASTIMIX 200 is recommended for mixes where reduced water content and uniform, normal setting concrete with enhanced finishing characteristics is desirable.  PLASTIMIX 200 provides improved early and ultimate concrete strengths, chemically enhancing the hydration process, especially in mixes incorporating slag (GGBFS) and fly ash.

DOSAGE RATE:

PLASTIMIX 200 is recommended for use at a rate of 4 to 8 fl. oz.  per 100 lb. of cementitious materials, depending upon job requirements and local materials.  Because local job conditions vary, contact your local Pro Mix sales representative for further assistance if using outside recommended dosage ranges.

TECHNICAL NOTE:

PLASTIMIX 200 is a chemically stable brown liquid with a pH>8.0.  PLASTIMIX 200 contains chlorides and weighs approximately 10 pounds per gallon.  As with all chemical admixtures, when handling PLASTIMIX 200, protective measures including rubber gloves and safety goggles are recommended.

COMPATIBILITY:

PLASTIMIX 200 can be used with other chemical admixtures including air entraining agents.  It is recommended that air entraining agents be dispensed separately from other admixtures including PLASTIMIX 200.

STORAGE:

PLASTIMIX 200 should be stored above 34 degrees F to protect from freezing.  If PLASTIMIX 200 has frozen, thaw and completely reconstitute by agitation before use.  Do not use pressurized air for agitation.

55-gallon drums and bulk deliveries.
